Typically, stress can occur most often due to work and money worries, and it’s not uncommon for most people to suffer many stressful days at work.

If your work pressure is mounting because your finances are in a bad way, this is only going to increase your stress overall. Maybe you’re sticking in a job you hate and which is causing you health problems because you’re worried about paying your bills, or maybe you’re overworking yourself with overtime because you’re trying to earn a little extra.

Try to get your finances more organized, create budgets, or look for other opportunities to make a little extra cash, which doesn’t involve working more at your current job. This could be selling some unwanted items or saving money on the side by earning coupons or extra spare cash with the best survey sites.

Try to Have a Healthy Routine

If you’re sat down for several hours and skipping mealtimes or breaks due to feeling so busy, this is only going to make you feel worse. No matter your workload, you are entitled to designated breaks and a set lunch break. Always be sure to take the breaks you’re owed, and make sure you’re eating something healthy during your lunch, to keep up your energy levels.

Say No When You Need To

It’s so easy to say yes at work, due to not wanting to upset the balance of wanting to portray yourself positively. However, saying no may be key to beating stress and looking after your health. Say no to extra tasks, responsibilities, and overtime if you simply can’t take on anymore work. Say no to any coworkers distracting you or wanting to converse if you have deadlines or work to complete.

Or, it can be as straightforward as saying no to a social work event if you need your time off to relax and recuperate rather than filling it with more work-related obligations.
